'딘 앤 데루카'에선 딸기 작은 팩이 5 불이야 그치만 자기의 퇴사 기념식을 위해 큰맘 먹고 질렀지.

Andrea : Listen, Nate. 네이트...

 

Nate : Wait a minute. You quit your job, but you're still working on the twins' science project? Well, that's big of you. 관뒀으면서 왜 쌍둥이 숙제를 해줘?  너무 친절하네?

Andrea : Okay, after we talked, I realized... it doesn't make sense throwing away all those months of hard work. I just had a moment of weakness, that's all.
자기랑 통화하고 나서... 그 동안 고생한 게 억울한 생각이 들더라구 내가 잠시 약해졌었어

Nate : Yeah, well, either that, or your job sucks and your boss is a wacko.

Andrea :  Nate. Come on. I'm still the same person I was. I still want the same things. Okay?
네이트 이해해줘 이 일을 한다고 내가 달라지진 않아 난 예전과 똑같은 앤디야 옷만 좀 좋아졌지

Nate : Mm-hmm. all right. whatever. it's your job.

Andrea : I promise. Same Andy, better clothes.

Nate : I like the old clothes. 예전 옷이 좋았어 ( 너의 예전 모습이 그리워 )

Andrea : Really? Well, what about these necklaces? Do you like them? No? And this dress, it's new. Eh.

Go. Sometimes I can't believe I talk about this crap all day. Bobby, come here. Let me see.
그래, 현대 여성이 대도시와 싸우기 위해서 내부의 야성적 본능을 발산하는거야. 좋아, 가 내가 말하고도 웃기네.
( 가끔은 내가 온종일 이런 헛소리를 해대다니 가끔은 자괴감이 들어 )

Nigel : Make sure Miranda gets these as soon as possible.  And tell her I switched in the Dior for the Rocha.

Andrea :  I'm sorry. It's a busy day. My personal life is hanging by a thread, that's all. 

스트레스 때문예요. 매일 바쁘고 내 개인삶은 위태롭고.

Nigel: Join the club.That's what happens when you start doing well at work, darling. Let me know when your whole life goes up in smoke. That means it's time for a promotion.

나도 마찬가지야. 직장생활을 제대로 할때부터 사생활에 문제가 생기지. 네 인생 전체가 연기안에서 사라지게 되면
나한테 알려줘. 그것은 승진할때가 되었다는 뜻이야.
-> Join the club : (나쁜일을 겪는 사람과) 같은 신세가 되다.

Miranda :  No. All right, February, back of the issue. Did anybody spea kwith Salma's people yet?
안돼. 2월호 뒷부분. 셀마사람들하고 이야기해봤어?

A : Yes, but she'd rather do a summer cover because she has a movie coming out.
네, 그렇지만 영화가 개봉되기 때문에 여름 표지를 하고 싶어해요.

Miranda : No. Also, I'm pulling the Toobin pieceon the Supreme Court womenwoman. And I need to see a new drafto n that piece... about shopping for a plastic surgeon It's dull. And this layout for the Winter Wonderland spread. Not wonderful yet.

그리고 대법원 여판사 얘긴 빼버려 대신 성형수술 쇼핑을 한번 더 다루자고. 이 겨울 풍경 레이아웃 전혀 멋지지 않아.

Nigel : Zac Posen's doing some very sculptural suits. So I suggested that, uh, Testinoshoot them at the Noguchi Garden.
포센 작품이 기하학적 정장을 제작중이라 테스티노에게 노구치 정원에서 촬영하면 어떻게냐고 맡겼어요.

A : One thought I had was enamel. Um, bangles, pendants, earrings.

Miranda:  No. We did that two years ago. What else? 2년전에 했던거야. 다른거는?

A : Um, well, they're showing a lot of florals right now, so I was thinkingFlorals?

Emily : Like death warmed up actually. Oh, God. It's the benefit tonight. I've been looking forward to it for months. I refuse to be sick. I'm wearing Valentino, for crying out loud. Right. Well, everybody will be leaving soon to get ready... so I suggest you go and drop Miranda's Fendi bag off at the showroom... and then I suppose you can just go home.

 

죽을 지경이야 오늘밤 자선파티를 손꼽아 기다렸는데 '발렌티노'를 입고 코만 풀게 생겼으니/ 파티 땜에 미란다도 일찍 나갈 거야. 자기는 미란다 모피가방을 전시장에 가져다주고 바로 퇴근해.

Andera: Yeah? Oh, well, that is great .Perfect actually. I need to get to Magnolia Bakery before it closes. It's Nate's birthday tonight. So we're, uh, having a little party for him. 

갖다놓고 퇴근해 와우, 신난다 케익 살 시간을 벌어 다행야 오늘이 남친 생일이거든 파티를 열어줄 거야 

 

Emily : Yeah, I'm hearing this, and I wanna hear this. I love job. I love job.
