Miranda : Andrea? 앤드리아

Andrea : Miranda, about last night, I-  미란다 어젯밤은...

Miranda : I need the new Harry Potter book for the twins. 해리포터 좀 구해봐 쌍둥이 줄꺼야.

Andrea :  Okay. Okay. I'll go down to Barnes. 당장 서점에 갈게요 (바니스)

 

Miranda : Did you fall down and smack your little head on the pavement? 
너 머리라도 붙이쳐서 돌 되었니?
-> smack : 세게 부딪히다

Andrea :  Not that I can recall. 그런일은 없었는데요. ( 제가 기억하기로는 아니에요)

Miranda : We have all the published Harry Potter books. The twins want to know what happens next.
우리는 이미 발가된 해리포터책들은 이미 다 가지고 있어. 쌍둥이들은 그 다음을 궁금해 하고 있어.

 

Miranda : You want the unpublished manuscript?
아직 나오지 않은 원고를 원하는건가요?

Miranda : We know everyone in publishing .It shouldn't be a problem, should it?

And you can do anything, right?

Andrea : She doesn't get it. I could call frick in' J. K. Rowling herself .I'm not gonna get a copy of that book.

Miranda : My girls are leaving on the train for their grandmother's at 4:00...so the book better be here no later than 3:00.
애들이 4시 기차로 할머니집에 가니까 3시전까지는 와야 할거야.

Andrea : Of course! 물론이죠.

Miranda : And I would like my steak here in 15 minutes. 그리고 나 15분 이내로 스테이크  먹고 싶어.

Andrea : No problem! Okay. I have four hours to get the impossible manuscript.

Smith  &wollekens doesn't open until 11:30. How am I gonna get the steak? I will be back in 15 minutes. Wish me luck!

Christian Thompson : Just tell her it can't be done. You'll have to come up with a Plan "B."
미란다에게 할 수 없는 일이라고 말해요. Plan B를 생각해 내요.

Andrea : Well, this is Miranda Priestly we're talking about. There is no Plan "B."There's only Plan "A."

Is she back? Am I fired?

Andrea : I failed. She's gonna fire me anyway. I might as well beat her to the punch.

Andrea : Hello. 여보세요.

Christian Thompson : I'm brilliant.  No, really. Monuments should be erected in my honor.

Andrea : Excuse me. 실례합니다. 

A : Welcome to the St. Regis.M ay I assist you with anything?
세인트레지스에 오신걸 환영합니다. 도와드릴까요?

Andrea :  Oh. Yes. Uh, I'm meeting someone at the King Cole Bar.
네, 킹골바에서 누굴 좀 만나기로 했어요.

Andrea : Hi. 안녕

 

Christian Thompson : You have one hour.  한시간 뒤에 돌려줘야 해요.

Andrea : Thank you. 고마워요.

 

Miranda : One copy. What are my twins gonna do with that? Share?
한부네. 내 쌍둥이가 그걸 가지고 뭐할려고? 반으로 나눠?

 

Andrea : Oh, no, I made two copies...and had them covered, reset and bound so that they wouldn't look like manuscripts. This is an extra copy to have on file. You know, just in case.
두권의 복사본이 원고처럼 보이지 않게 제본을 했어요.이것은 보관하기 위한 여분의 복사본이에요. 만일의 경우를 대비해서요.
