Emily : This is foul. Don't let her see it. 이런 쓰레기를 가지고 들어가는건 실례에요. 

Miranda : Who are you? 누구지?

Andrea : My name is Andy Sachs. I recently graduated from Northwestern University. 
전 앤디 색스에요. 최근에 노스 웨스턴 대학을 졸업했어요. 




Miranda : What are you doing here? 그래서 지금 여기서 뭐하고 있는 건데?

Andrea : Well, I think I could do a good job as your assistant.
그게..편집장님 비서로 일을 아주 잘 할 수 있을 것 같아서요. 

Andrea : And..um...yeah...I came to New York to be a journalist, and sent letters out everywhere and finally got a call from Elias-Clarke and met with Sherry up at Human Resources and basically, it's this or Auto Universe.
원래는 저널리스트가 되려고 이 도시에 왔거든요, 이력서를 넣을 수 있는 곳엔 다 넣었었는데  마침 클라크 출판사에서 통보가 왔는데요 인사과에서 쉐리를 만났죠. 그리고... 사실 이 일 아니면 자동차 잡지사 'auto universe에 가야 합니다.

Miranda : So you don't read Runway? 평소에 '런웨이' 안읽죠?

Miranda : Before today, you'd never heard of me? 그럼 그 전까진 내 이름 들어본 적도 없고?
-> heard of : ~에 대한 소문을 듣다.
    heard bout : ~에 관해서 듣다

    예문) Have you ever heard of the new boss? " 새로 오는 팀장에 대해서 소문 들었어? "

Andrea : Yeah, you know, okay. You're right. I don't fit in here. I am not skinny or glamorous 
and I don't know that much about fashion but I'm smart. I learn fast and work very hard.
좋아요, 전 여기에 맞지 않나봐요. 전 마르지도 않고 글래머도 아니고 패션에 대해선 더더욱 모르지만
전 똑똑해요. 또 빨리 배웁니다. 아주 열심히 일할 수 있어요.

Nigel :  The problem is, with that huge feathered headdress she's wearing

Nigel :  She looks like she's working the stage at the Golden Nugget.
